UCE will again host a writing bee as part of Amnesty International’s world-wide campaign “Write for &nbsp:Rights.” Join us (in person) Sunday¸ December 11 right after the church service.

Do not under-estimate the power of one¸ short¸ handwritten letter when multiplied by the letters¸ emails¸ posts &amp: tweets by people around the world! Write For Rights has proven effective in getting prisoners of conscience released¸ or their conditions improved. This year Amnesty International has picked 13 situations as the ones most likely to benefit NOW from letter-writing.If one doesn’t inspire you¸ there is surely another that will.
