During the summer at UCE, church looks a little different. Children’s classes, youth group, and the nursery all take a break for June, July and August. There are, however, still options for kids over the summer, and caregivers are still welcome to bring children.

June

June is a time when we normally have traditional, family-friendly worship services that the whole family can enjoy. Families stick together and enjoy worship in the sanctuary that is meant to engage all ages.

July and August

During the months of July and August, a volunteer is available to supervise children who come to church and would prefer not to stay in the sanctuary for the service. Children have the option of doing crafts or playing with toys in the classroom, or going outside with our volunteer to the park across the street if the weather is good. Caregivers who would like to have their children participate should ensure that they come to church with appropriate outdoor clothing in case the activity for the day is going outside.
