Our Minister from

1958 - 1964

Rev. Horton came to Edmonton from the Unitarian Church in Trenton, N.J.

From a UCE report on Horton as it tried to recruit him: “He was born in Canada and is in his fourth year of the Unitarian ministry...He was educated in Columbia and Meadville and is known for his sense of humour.”

In Edmonton, Horton spoke out against nuclear weapons. He was active in the Canadian Mental Health Association, Edmonton Welfare Council, and Committee for the Control of Radiation Hazards while in Edmonton.
