Another season of Chorealis has come to an end. Don’t despair, the 2017 – 2018 season will start in September, please look to Facebook and our uce.ca calendar for updates.
Chorealis is the mixed voice choir of the Unitarian Church of Edmonton. Chorealis’s repertoire includes secular and sacred works — from ABBA to Vivaldi. Our choir leaders are Karen Mills and Gordon Ritchie, two terrific musicians.
Practices are every Thursday evening from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at UCE. Chorealis sings in services once a month and at special events throughout the year. The members of Chorealis love to sing and would like to share the joy of singing with you!
Chorealis in the Summer
What a wonderful year we have had under the amazing direction from our co-leaders Karen Mills and Gordon Ritchie! And the Chorealis church services that they orchestrated have been highlights for many of our congregation. We have over 40 people registered in our choir and we all look forward to our weekly rehearsals. A very special thank you to Maurice Bourgoin who had a very complicated task as librarian. As well as our usual busy schedule, we hosted a very successful Cabaret. We concluded the year with a potluck in May.
To continue our connections, we are getting together for barbecues over the summer. These events are open to anyone from the congregation who would like to join us.
We will be starting rehearsals again on Thursday, September 7th at 7:30 pm and always welcome new singers.
