Voices of Canada On this day after Canada Day, in this year that some celebrate 150 years since Canada named itself a country, we will gather to listen to a few of the wonderful story tellers (in words, songs, images) that belong to this land. Michelle has been an active member of UCE for almost 20 years. She is an ardent listener of CBC radio and has lived in the Canadian rockies, the arctic and the prairies.

Maybe the ancient Greeks can help us to define ourselves in a monotheistic world. Plus: we’ll sing some favourite UU songs. Susan Ruttan is a retired journalist who is currently a member of the UCE board and the national CUC board.

Members of all faiths and ethnic groups are invited to participate in the annual Genocide Memorial Service to be held at 1 p.m. July 16, at 9916-154 Street, Edmonton, Alberta.
